There’s a Christmas deal on until 31 December. Going direct to Bitdefender “Home” products website (via desktop chrome browser) has the $20 deal available for the general public. So I’m not worried that I will be “stuck” with an old version of Bitdefender in the coming years.Īlso this deal isn’t limited to the link on this post. I assume I will automatically be prompted to download the next version of Bitdefender when it’s available each year, as this is what happened for me a few months ago when an update to Bitdefender came out this year. Click on the subscription information page and then on the blue “I” (for information), it shows the number of days remaining on your now stacked subscription.
After you click it, as you’re already logged into your account in the browser, the screen shows a message saying successfully applied. To apply it to my existing subscription I went into Bitdefender clicked on the my account button, logged into the account on chrome (my default browser) and left it open/logged in when I clicked on the activation link/button in the email Bitdefender sends after you complete your purchase. I only had 90 days left on my Family subscription and I was only using 3 devices, so this didn’t matter to me. I originally had the Bitdefender Family subscription (unlimited devices) and on applying the purchase it over rode my Family product, changed it to Total and added the years to my existing remaining subscription period. For anyone that’s interested, I’ve successfully applied 4 years of this deal to my existing Bitdefender subscription.
